Saw this handsome orange boy hanging around the parking lot behind the coffee shop on 5th for the last few days. Friendly but no collar — he came right up to me. Looks well-fed, so he probably belongs to someone nearby.
I left out some water and a little food. If he's yours (or you know who he belongs to), he's been sticking close to the dumpsters in the mornings. 🐈

Long-haired cats and mats are no joke. A slicker brush twice a week has saved us from another emergency shave-down at the vet. Worth the five minutes a day, especially heading into shedding season.

She slipped out the back door near Willow Park this morning. Gray tabby, green eyes, very shy — she's chipped but has no collar. Please check garages and sheds, she hides when scared. Message me if you see her. 🙏

Switched my senior cat to a wet-food-only diet after our vet flagged early kidney concerns. Six months in and her energy is back and bloodwork looks great. Happy to share the brand if anyone's dealing with the same thing.

Our local shelter is completely full and urgently needs foster homes for a litter of 6-week-old kittens. Fostering just means a safe space and food for a few weeks until they're old enough for adoption — supplies are provided. Can anyone help?

Rescued a stray from under a parked car during last night's storm — soaked, shivering, but otherwise okay. Vet check tomorrow morning, but she's warm, fed, and sleeping soundly on a towel by the heater tonight.

We finally did it — meet Pepper! 🖤 Adopted this little floof from the shelter last weekend and she's already claimed the whole couch as her own. Cannot believe she was waiting for a home this whole time.

Finally solved our litter box avoidance issue — turned out it was the scented litter, not the box placement. Switched to unscented clay and she's using it consistently again. Cats really do have opinions about smell.

Trick that's saved us so much stress: freezing a little tuna water in an ice cube tray for pill time. Ten seconds of distracted licking is all it takes to slip the pill in unnoticed. Works every single time for us.

My cat started randomly hissing at my other cat after a vet visit — apparently it's really common (they come home smelling different). Kept them separated with a towel swap for two days and they're back to cuddling now.

Heartbroken to post this, but a new allergy diagnosis in the family means we need to rehome our sweet 4-year-old cat Miso. She's healthy, spayed, up to date on shots, and incredibly affectionate. Looking for a patient, loving home.

Reminder as the weather warms up: lilies are extremely toxic to cats, even just the pollen. Had a scare last spring when mine brushed against a bouquet. Double-checking every plant that comes into the house now.

PSA for other cat owners: if your cat suddenly stops eating for more than 24 hours, get them to a vet immediately — it can trigger fatty liver disease fast. Caught it early with mine and she's fully recovered now.
